DIDN'T WORK
I did some dry-brush on the background here. Didn't think it really worked on the original... REALLY thinking it didn't work on the scan. Oh well. Something for me to do at work, I guess.

I think if the dragging lines on the right continued to the left side it may have worked better for you.
Yeah. On the original, I thought that side actually looked worse, but I think you're right.
I just realized that I have to completely redo the panel anyway. I forgot something important.
