MR. EYBYANINCH BOOK 2 PAGE 29

It gets scarier.

Get your scary music going. You might want to consider something by John Carpenter. Like the Halloween theme. Three 6 Mafia uses it for their Lolli Lolli song. Because girls dancing with lollipops are just as dangerous as Michael Myers. In that song, one of the members (possibly Three-boz?) implores all the ladies in the club to put their hands in the Ur. Get your hands in the ancient Mesopotamian city! That's an untapped market. Or, it hasn't been tapped since the 1950s. The 1950s B.C.E.

What was i talking about? Oh, right.

HORROR!

TERROR!

The most frightening page of comics in all comics history!

Prepare to be scared.

UNDERSEAER PAGE 6

When I run, Stevie is playing Sir Duke. And he'll be able to do it too. Did you see that guy? I'll be 60 before he is.

So, yesterday had a touch of the suck to it, and then I ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in too long after lunch. And then Marcos and I had a night of Beer, Bubba and Biden. Oh, and for the first time in my entire life, my candidate is running for the presidency of the United States of America. Then today's lunch was so great, I had to blast the KLF on my headphones. That's pretty good.

And now I'm getting these pages up. And I'm waiting for the speech. I'm gonna put one more page up tonight, and I'll do a little more work. But I've got some wine, some arugula*, and I'm gonna have some fun.

*Playing the role of arugula tonight will be Tostitos — the chip of the liberal elite®

They need to get some Doobie Brothers in there! Ah, Tim Kaine. There you go. Get them Kindergarten chanting, at least. Oh! There's Bill Richardson. Ok.

I am literally putting this page on my blog. It is literally a page from Mr. Eybyaninch Book 2. Literally. I will literally have another page up tonight. Not figuratively. Literally. I am going to literally scan that page in a couple of minutes.

Welcome back, Joe.

UNFINISHED UNDERSEAER

Well, I didn't finish this page, but I took a quick photo to give you an idea of how hatch-crazy it is. Call it Richard.

I was watching that one guy win all the Olympics and thought to myself, "That guy looks like the first Olympic athlete based on an Image founder's design."

MR. EYBYANINCH BOOK 2 PAGE 20

FINALLY!!! I've been trying to upload this image since 6PM! D-Man you, Blogger!

Here it is, page 20 of Mr. Eybyaninch Book 2:

On July 25, I decided to give myself a new goal: 20 Pages in 55 Days! Well, ten days later I was already halfway to go-laaaaaaaaa! I hit the book's 2/3 mark in less than half the estimated time. Not bad. Also, the pages are starting to get better again.

On the board right now is page 21. I'd like to work out a plan of attack tomorrow for the remaining 9 pages. Crunch time! I need to make sure I end in the right place.

Can I do ten pages in 10 days again? If so, can I get Mr. Eybyaninch Book 3 done for SPX? It's two months away. How crazy can I be?

I know. It's a little too obvious. Not quite the 'plot twist' you were hoping for. But sometimes you just gotta hit those necessary story beats.

And yes, I know what you're going to say. That lettering is a total rip off of Mike Royer's title lettering from OMAC and The Eternals. But I love it so. Also, the image is a teensyweensy bit Windsor McCay-ish, but that's only if you're looking really hard.

See? Last night's post was more of a preview than you imagined!

For something truly disturbing, take a look at Carlfield. Here and Not here... site is broken. Just go to the main Carl site and look at the blog posts beneath the main strip.
